There are many different positions that you can play in soccer. It all just depends on which one you prefer. The main positions are: striker, midfield, defense, and goalie. The striker, also called forward, is usually the one who scores the most. Midfielders run the most throughout the whole game and basically can go where they are needed. They are in charge of getting the ball to the strikers, or helping the defense if needed. The defense, as you may have guessed defends the goal. They are the last resort before the goalie.
